Pitch feedback

On 10/10/11 we presented our pitch in front of our peers, broadcasting our general ideas of how we are going to film the music video for our chosen track. Overall feedback was positive resulting in our idea getting green lighted however some very important issues were raised by the audience.
These include:-

  1. A location reccie at each of our chosen locations.
  2. There were some concerns about how we are going to link our locations together within the narrative.
  3. There were some questions over the style of church we would use for example the audience thought a more traditional church would be better suited.
  4. Concerns over what camera shots to use to make our video interesting whilst keeping in terms with our split-screen idea.
  5. With our split-screen idea there were concerns over the amount of shots we would need.
  6. Concerns over weather were also expressed.
Some skills we had to use in our pitch included:-
  • IT skills for the use of Prezi and our Youtube video embedded in our presentation.
  • We had to converse our ideas with clarity and enthusiasm in order for our concept to be 'Green Lighted'
  • We also had to use a lot of terminology in order to successfully transverse our ideas.
At AS we had difficulty explaining our ideas towards the target audience and as a consequence we had to re organise our pitch so that our ideas were clear, before we could continue with our production. At A2 we were able to include shot samples that we are planning to shoot in our video to give extra clarity to our idea that we were able to broadcast successfully, thus we were 'Green Lighted' and now we are focussing on the production of our video.
